Everyone needs a Sian in their life.

I first knew Sian was the friend for me around ten years ago. We worked together and one of our colleagues had just come back from Italy and thought I would love it, more specifically he thought I would love Pompeii. Sian was the next person to wander through my office door and, having spent a little time together out of work, I decided to just ask. ‘We’re both off next Thursday, how do you fancy a day trip to Pompeii?’ her reply sealed her fate, I will be in her life forever! She smiled and said ‘I’ll go and get my card’. Within the next 15 minutes we had our trip booked and paid for.

Since then we have been on LOADS of advetures and we have had the best time but I am here to talk about one specific adventure we are on. As me and Sian got to know each other we started I started to share my childhood obsession with the paranormal and, in true Sian fashion, she was all in.

An opportunity arose for me to run a franchise for a paranormal events company in North Wales, I asked Sian if she would help and so we started hosting events. This was the first time she had done any overnight investigating, I had been doing it since I was 18, and she loved it. Unfortunatley we were unable to continue with the franchise after 18 months but we were desperate to continue with the investigations but didn’t want to do it in big groups controlled by an events company.

That is when we had our idea for an adventure…

Kel & Sian Go is the name of our paranormal investigation team and the weird thing is, whilst we are both open minded, neither of us class ourselves as believers! The places we visit are gorgous though and we have had experiences we can’t explain so maybe one day we will believe.

We have visited so many places over the years but the more noteable ones are probably:

The Ancient Ram Inn – Said to be one of the most haunted buildings in the UK with nearly 1000 years of human history. Bodies, mummies, witches and around 20 spirits! We had a great night but can’t say anything happened, we even managed to get a few hours sleep in the formidable ‘Bishops Room’ that has had investigators fleeing in terror.

Derby Gaol – Richard Felix (Most Haunted) owns this building and I don’t think I have ever met a nicer more accomodating person, he was fantatsic and his venue has been very carefully returned back to its original us (excusing the bar that is still in the midddle of course). Again we didn’t experience a great deal here and even managed to have a nap in the autopsy room.

Dana Prison – This was just a ghost tour that we brought a ticket for and I have to admit it is a fantastic building! The history it has I am sure there is plenty of activity here but we are not able to afford a visit here yet, fingers crossed for the future though.

I will stress that all of the places mentioned above have given results to other investigators and I would return to all of them, me and Sian just haven’t had the luck yet!

Drop a comment below if you know anywhere we could visit, especially if it’s off the beaten track! We are also hoping to start doing some investigations abroad so don’t feel the need to limit your suggestions to the UK.

We have a lot of equipment both spiritual and scientific (not designed specifically for the paranormal but they are able to back up certain theories).

The best thing about the all this though is how much we laugh. We have so much fun and we get to have a look around some amazing old buildings as well as scare ourselves stuipd every now and again. I can’t recommend it enough!

If this is something your a little curious about yourself please do reach out to me, we’re always looking for new friends to talk ghosts with, or you could just have a look at our YouTube channel K&SGo to see what we get up to when we are out and about.

We don’t edit our videos in any way we just put them straight on YouTube, we don’t even view them first relying on viewers to let us know if anything has been spotted. So head over, subscribe and see if you can spot something no one else has seen yet!

Thanks for reading!

Lots Of Love Kel xx
